 What awaits you

Upon arrival, the receptionist will greet you and show you how to dress in traditional Thai attire. After changing, the receptionist will ask you to fill out an introductory questionnaire (on your first visit). You will then be offered a drink, either water, lemonade, or tea; with tea, you have the choice of ginger or herbal. The therapist will lead you to the Thai massage room, where you will first receive a cleansing ritual foot bath. The Thai massage itself will last 60 minutes. After the massage, you will again be offered a drink, whether it be lemonade, water, or tea.

The massage takes place on a mattress on a podium, in loose and comfortable Palawi spa clothing. The therapist works on your body with energy lines and pressure points using the pressure of thumbs, palms, elbows, and so on.

In addition to the pressure techniques, the therapist stretches your entire body, allowing you to experience many of the benefits of yoga, as if you were practicing it yourself (even though the movements are performed by your therapist).
